Municipal Court Nov. 2 Anthony Reed, 30, of Elko pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of discharging a firearm within city limits. Acting Elko Municipal Judge Mar- L.J. Erskine dies at age 91 Lucille Jane Erskine, 91, a former Elko County resident, died Tuesday at her home in Winnemucca, according to information received here.

She was born Sept 8, 1902, in Reno to Charles Henry and Viola Burner Kleckner. She was reared and educated in Elko County and moved to Winnemucca in 1928. She married Stewart M. Erskine on Feb. 3, 1934, in Winnemucca.

She was a waitress at the Humboldt Hotel for 32 years and manager of the coffee shop, before retiring in 1967. She was a member of the Methodist Winnemucca Re-bekah Lodge and AARP. Survivors include a daughter, Mona Ellifritz of Winnemuca; sisters, Luella Marionetti, Hemet and Louise Mortin of Kansas; stepdaughter, Marian Grauvogel of Winnemucca; stepson, Donald D. Erskine, Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.

Saturday at The Al-bertson Funeral Home. Private burial will be in the Winnemucca Cemetery. A memorial is being established with the Winnemucca Senior Center, 1480 Lay Street Winnemucca 89445. Jenkins was found innocent of two felony counts of using a minor in producing pornography in incidents involving the same girls. Jenkins also is serving a 20-year term on a felony count of drunken driving resulting in the death of another person for his role in Swett's death.

Bullard, 40, of Elko was arrested by an Elko County Sheriffs Department deputy at 1130 a.m. yesterday at the Elko County Jail on a warrant out of Elko Justice Court for failure to pay a fine for drunken driving and second-offense drunken driving. Johnson, 28, of Cheyenne, was arrested by an Elko city officer at 4:40 p.m. yesterday at Roy's Market on charges of petty larceny. Bail: $600. Danny J. Shrock, 42, of Wells was arrested by a Wells city officer at 650 p.m.

yesterday at his residence in the 600 block of Wells Avenue. He was charged with spousal battery. Bail: $600. Steve D. Murdock, 34, of Elko was arrested by a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper at 10:20 last night on Lamoille Highway three miles south of Elko.

He was arrested on charges of Sparks reported the theft of a $400 keyboard from his room at the Holiday Inn. He reported the theft to city police at 259 this morning. According to the city report, Kuechenmeis-ter said the keyboard had been situated near the door since his arrival on Tuesday. There were several other electronic items in the room that were left untouched. There was also no sign of forced entry.

Ricardo N. Alvarez, 20, of Wells was arrested by an Elko city officer at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday at Payless Drug Store on charges of petty larceny and possession of documentation to obtain false identification. Alex Antoniou, 20, of Elko reported the burglary of his automobile to city police at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the city officer's report a $672 stereo and $450 worth of compact discs also were taken. His vehicle had been parked in front of his apartment at 1050 Connolly Drive. Antoniou said the theft occurred between 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

M. Chapman dies at age 59, in Missouri Marjorie Gail Landon Chapman, 59, a native of Battle Mountain, died in Scott City, according to information received here. She was born Aug. 20, 1934, to Franklin J. and Emily R.

Landon. She married Lester M. Chapman on July 12, 1954, in Reno. Survivors include her husband; son, Michael Campbell of Kirkland, daughters, Michaelle Chapman, Birmingham, Marsha Stan-field, Rochester, N.Y., and Lynn Marie Chapman, Marietta, sisters, Ruth Hoffman of Elko and Marion McLaughlin of Tustin, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.

THURSDAY Emory Todd Dawes was sentenced yesterday in Elko District Court to two consecutive sets of six-year terms on two felony counts of statutory sexual seduction and two felony counts of using a minor in producing pornography. Elko District Judge Jack Ames sentenced Dawes, 25, formerly of Elko and now of Paonia, to concurrent six-year terms on the sexual seduction counts. Those will run consecutively to concurrent six-year terms on the pornography counts. The incidents were said to have occurred between Oct. 1 and Dec.

31, 1990, in Elko and involved a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old female. Judge Ames also ordered Dawes to pay up to $2,500 per girl counseling. The sentences will run consecutive to a six-year term Dawes is serving on a felony count of being a principal to involuntary manslaughter for his role in the death of Jennifer Swett. Swett, 15, was killed Oct. 21, 1990, on Spring Valley Parkway when a car she was a passenger in collided with one driven by Kevin Jenkins of Elko.

Dawes and Jenkins were in a high-speed chase at the time of the accident. Judge Ames described the sexual seduction and pornography counts as "a type of a situation that is a nightmare to parents." He said "the message has to go out to society" that Dawes' acts were not acceptable. Judge Ames rejected an argument from Elko District Attorney Marshall Smith that Dawes receive the same See Friday's Entertainment OEIko Spring Creek Cable Suit against Rexroad moved to Elko court Antenna Carlin Cable Maynard Santina, 39, of Elko was arrested by an Elko city officer at 10:20 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of Fifth and Pine Streets. Bail: $650. Jeffrey B. Cazier, 30, of Elko was arrested by an Elko city officer at 11:20 p.m. yesterday in the Elko Junction shopping center parking lot. He was arrested on charges of drunken driving, second-offense drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol.

Bail: $1,055. Casey S. Demoville, 33, of Jerome, Idaho, was arrested by a sheriffs deputy at 3:15 this morning on U.S. 93 in Jackpot. She was arrested on charges of drunken driving and failure to maintain the travel lane.

Bail: $905... Kevin J. Kuechenmeister, 35, of Lynch, identified as a Carlin employee, are co-defendants. The vehicle Rexroad was driving was stolen from Carlin. Carlin attorney Gary Di-Grazia, who sought the change of venue, stated in court papers that Rexroad was unauthorized to have the vehicle.

A cross-claim has been filed by Carlin against Rexroad and Lynch, who "negligently allowed Rexroad access to the keys" to the 1987 Dodge, court papers stated. Cal J. Potter III of Las Vegas is representing Ramirez and Hutson. Rexroad as well as co-defendant Gaylen Thompson were each sentenced to two life terms without the possibility of parole for the April 12, 1992, shooting death of Tomera. Rexroad pleaded guilty to felony counts of first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon and grand larceny.

He received a consecutive 10-year sentence for taking the Carlin Fire Department vehicle. Thompson pleaded guilty to a felony count of aiding and abetting open murder with the use of a deadly weapon. Thomas A. Bates, 27, of Thornton, and Tamra Rae Watkins, 34, of Elko were involved in a two-car accident at 7:40 a.m. yesterday at the intersection of Sixth and Idaho Streets.

According to the city officer's report, Watkins was eastbound on Idaho Street behind an unidentified vehicle making a right turn onto Sixth Street Bates was westbound on Idaho Street attempting to make a left turn onto Sixth. They both turned at the same time, with Watkins' vehicle striking Bates' vehicle near the passenger side front tire. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Paul A. Korpi, age unavailable, of Elko was Involved in a one-car accident at 1:30 this morning on Lamoille Highway about two miles south of Elko.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol report Korpi, driving southbound, allowed his vehicle to drift off the left shoulder. The car then dropped into a drainage ditch, overturned and came to rest facing in a southwesterly direction. He was taken to Elko General Hospital by Elko Ambulance. He was reported today in fair condition. Traffic A lawsuit against Joshua Rexroad, who was convicted in the shooting death of Terry Tomera, has been moved to Elko District Court, according to court records.

The lawsuit filed for Coralee Ramirez and Georgette Hutson, both of Clark County, was transferred from Clark County District Court last week It was originally filed March 5. The lawsuit claims that a vehicle driven by Rexroad collided with one driven by Ramirez April 16 in Las Vegas. She and Hutson, who was a passenger, are suing for general damages, special damages, medical expenses and lost wages.
