He had been a resident of Sun Lakes, since 1987. He was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Burlington, Iowa, to Kenneth and Frances Allen Cook. He graduated from Hays (Kan.) High School in 1953. He attended Kansas State University and Fort Hays State College in Hays, graduating from Fort Hays State College in 1959 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

In the interim, he served with the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Knox, Ky. He married Marcia Godfrey, also of Hays, on Nov. 22, 1958. He obtained a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Iowa in 1961 after completing his hospital administration residency in St.

Paul, Minn. He then moved to Guymon, where he served as hospital administrator until 1964. He subsequently moved to Nevada to become administrator of Elko General Hospital where he held that TRAFFIC Delilah S. She is survived by her four children, Hazel Crowe of Bishop, Larry Harney of Elko, Joyce Harney of Elko and Janice Leyva of Hawthorne; sister, Beulah Evans of Owyhee; and was grandmother and greatto 38 children. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burns Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Young of Grace Baptist Church officiating.

Memorial services also will be at 11 a.m. (MST) Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Owyhee with the Rev. Josephine Dixon officiating. In her memory, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Cremation at Sunset Crematory.

Barbara Ann Davis Barbara Ann Davis, 60, died Saturday at Elko General Hospital of natural causes. She was born March 10, 1941, in Owyhee to Robert and Lillian Dixon Healy Sr. and worked as a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Elko High School. She was a lifelong resident of Elko County and enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, camping, riding horses and the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband James R. Davis of Elko; parents, Robert Healy Sr. and Lillian Healy of Butte Valley; son, James Davis of Price, Utah; daughters, Geri Lee of Elko and Sarah Davis of Twin Falls; brothers, Robert Healy Jr. of Elko, Gordon Healy of Butte Valley and Harvey Healy of Wells; sisters, Edna Brady of Elko and Louella Jackson of Elko; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Alice.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Figiel of the Elko Indian Church officiating. Burial will be at Elko City Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.

He was a member of the Jaycees and Lions Club. He was also a member of the Hays, Masonic Lodge.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, golf, sports, personal computing and spending time with his granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father in 1991 and his mother in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Cook of Sun Lakes, son, Randy Cook of Pacifica, daughters, Dana Cook of Danville, Kelly Cook Cole of Lakewood, son-in-law, Louis Cole of Lakewood, and granddaughter, Madison Cole of Lakewood, Colo. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Home.
